This week at the Bot Cave things have been in full swing. Since our last blog post we have made tremendous progress. Mr. Messing and the build team have been full steam and have fully assembled the intake and haybale system.
The electrical team, headed by our very own Zachary Evans, have continued to work on wiring our robot. Just last night they did overtime and finished up many items in hopes to have the robot driving by the end of the night tonight. They do many different things mainly Neo’s; these are essentially motors that help our robot move and do different things like raise different parts and whatnot.
But that’s not all, our programming team headed by Coach Pan has also been hard at work. They are the ultimate behind the scenes of this whole operation. They have been doing many things such as coding the drive system and shooting mechanisms. Programming mainly uses python to code our robot and make it move and shoot and things of the sort.
There is still more to come for this Freeland Robotics team. Check back next week for more updates on the 5166 team.
