This week has been an all-around success for the 5166 Freeland Fabricators. So far this week we have made a lot of progress. We helped out with the STEM night at the Freeland Elementary School. We made a lot of improvements in the Social outreach side of things. We did this by handing out flyers and also demonstrating our robot.
We got a lot of kids involved in the program and what it means. As of right now we have 9 new FLL members and also 3 new FTC members. We are really exited to have done this event and spread the message of the Freeland Fabricators and FIRST.
We are at the Lockwood STEM Center right now as I am typing this. We are thrilled to have this opportunity to come and work with the Hemlock Grey Matter. Having a full size field makes it great to practice and test out the changes.
The Drive team is working on doing test runs on the field and making the final stretch to Midland. We are hoping to do well on Friday the 25th and Saturday the 26th.
