We’re Going to States!

It’s official; Team 5166 will be going to states this week at Saginaw Valley State University!

To prepare ourselves, we will be scrimmaging at the annual “Brain Bowl” at the Lockwood STEM Center in Hemlock to test our shooter against 7 other teams. This will help us fix any final bugs before the state competition.

During today’s meeting, the Build Team is working on replacing the treads o our swerve wheels with a more durable material, as well as packing up the robot and getting it ready for the scrimmage and states. This includes replacing any other parts that need it and packing everything we will be needing for states.

The programmers have been working hard to make our robot better. They are making the programs cleaner and quicker so our robot can score the most amount of points it can. Electrical has also been hard at work and fixing up the robot. They have been re-wiring the robot so we can remove the plexiglass to make it move better and to cut weight.
