Outreach is a crucial aspect of FRC 5352’s robotics program, viewing it as a way to not only spread awareness about STEM but also inspire future generations by engaging with the community, showcasing student achievements, and encouraging broader participation in robotics through outreach initiatives like demonstrations, presentations, and mentoring programs, all while upholding the core value of “Gracious Professionalism”.
As a team, FRC 5352 supports our community, FIRST, and the world through various outreach activities:
- A.U.T.O. (Autism Understanding Through Outreach) program.
- FRC 5352 Funding Expansion Act – advocating for the inclusion of all students in FIRST robotics funding.
- Mentoring and establishing new FLL, FTC and FRC Teams.
- Robotics demonstrations, public appearances, and community service.
- Hosting numerous FIRST events to support STEM and the robotics community.
